RATING: READ IT
This weekend, I read All That’s Left to Hold Onto by Ella Fox. It had been on my TBR list for a little while now, but I’d been caught up in a number of series. I was looking for a quick, single-book read and I’m a big fan of Ms. Fox. I absolutely LOVED both her Hart Family Series (it was on KU when I read it) and her Renegade Saints series (which I purchased).
All That’s Left to Hold Onto delivered exactly what I was in the mood for: great writing, alpha male with a MAJOR sweet side, lots of sexual tension, and a great story. And might I add, Ronan Sharpe has definitely earned a spot on my top 10 ‘Book Boyfriends’ list. The story arc was tried-and-true, but had enough of the unexpected to keep it interesting. I also really loved the peripheral characters (one of Ms. Fox’s strong suits) and would love to see some of their stories in the future.
It might not sound like an exciting word, but for me, Ms. Fox is a really dependable writer. As unsexy as that sounds (NOTE: her books are very sexy!), as an avid reader, it means a lot to me. I don’t have to worry that I’m wasting my time. When I pick up one of her books, I know I’m going to get a great read out of it and she hasn’t let me down yet. Far from it.
All That’s Left to Hold Onto is no longer available on KU.
