RATING: READ IT
HOLD (A Gentry Boys Story) by Cora Brent is the fifth book in the Gentry Boys series. It’s difficult for me to be impartial and say whether or not you could read it on its own. It’s been a few months since I read Books 1-4 and Ms. Brent does a fabulous job or reminding you of the backstory, but if we were sitting around chatting about these books, I’d tell you to read Books 1-4 first. The Gentry Boys (did I mention they’re triplets?!?) are so yummy, you don’t want to miss out on getting to know them and their ladies.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved seeing the progression of their story and seeing some past issues resolved. I also really liked meeting the new characters introduced. It looks like there are plans for Books 6 (CROSS) and 7 (EDGE). I can guarantee I will be reading those as well. There’s just something about those Gentry Boys ~ I can’t resist ’em.
As of 1.30.16, the entire Gentry Boys series is available on KU.
I completely agree. These books are great! They sucked me in and now I am read her MC Club books that tie in with these. I don’t usually read those but I love the characters.
