RATING: BUY IT
There hasn’t been a single book by M. Never that I haven’t loved (the Decadence After Dark series and MOTO) and Trinity is no exception. I love the way she writes and I love the way she thinks. I’m very drawn to books that are considered, perhaps, more taboo and Trinity more than lived up to my expectations.
Trinity, a MMF novel, is the story of Jenn, Shane + Chase. For those that don’t know, there is a distinct difference between MMF and MFM books. MMF, as the order tells us, are Male/Male/Female and there is a sexual relationship between the two men. In a MFM novel, the Female is listed in between the two Males intentionally, as there is no sexual relationship between the two men. Trinity is MMF and it is extremely hot. However, if MM is not in your wheelhouse, then this might not be for you. I personally love MM books and recently reviewed a MM series that I loved called the Sunset Cove series by Ella Frank, if you’re looking for more MM in your life.
Jenn is a bartender/manager of a local bar/restaurant and she meets Shane + Chase at her best friend’s combined bachelor/bachelorette party held at the bar. The story gets hot almost immediately, but that is rarely something I complain about. 😉 The relationship between the three develops in a way that doesn’t feel forced. It feels natural, which I don’t think is an easy feat. There are, of course, a few dramatic twists and turns throughout, but the relationship between the three remains the focal point.
At only seven chapters long (just under 1,500 ‘locations’), Trinity is a very quick read. However, M. Never very craftily manages to make this feel like a full-length novel. It really is superbly written and I am always eagerly awaiting anything that she releases.
Note: The current KU download for Trinity contains a copy of MOTO.
As of 6.29.16, Trinity is available on Kindle Unlimited.
