Cleat Catcher by Celia Aaron + Sloane Howell

RATING: BUY IT

Full disclosure: I know nothing about sports. I live in a city, Chicago, that is filled with die-hard sports fans and has TWO baseball teams and yet I couldn’t tell you the last time I went to a game. With that said, how the heck did I fall in love with a book about baseball?

Cleat Catcher by Sloane Howell and Celia Aaron is the second book in the The Cleat Chaser Duet series. I read Cleat Chaser and really liked it (and recommend it all the time), but I LOVED Cleat Catcher. It’s the perfect combination of dirty, sexy, funny and sweet. Yes, sweet.

We meet Braden + Nikki in Cleat Chaser, but we really get to know them in Cleat Catcher. They’re young and in love, but have more than a few curve balls (no pun intended) thrown their way. Sometimes it comes down to miscommunication, but it really is so much fun (and sometimes frustrating) to watch them trying to figure it all out.

I love the way Sloane and Celia write together and having followed both authors on Facebook for the past few months, it’s so great to see their personalities turn up on the page. They are both naturally funny, but that doesn’t always translate to the written word. For them, it does in spades. There are more than a few laugh out loud moments and there were times I caught myself smiling like a fool.

Start with Cleat Chaser, but whatever you do, make sure you read Cleat CatcherNote: For a limited time, your download of Cleat Catcher includes Cleat Chaser. Do it now!

As of 7.1.16, Cleat Catcher is available on Kindle Unlimited.
