KUBR One-Click Addict Recap

Heya, KUbbies and Addicts! Here are five more Kindle Unlimited reads for you to enjoy!

BUY IT {Mila}: To Hate Adam Connor by Ella Maise – To Hate Adam Connor is a standalone novel that is a spin-off from To Love Jason Thorn. THAC is the story of Lucy + Adam. Lucy, best friend to Olive from TLJT, has just broken up with her boyfriend and is temporarily living with Olive + Jason in their LA mansion, which just happens to be right next door to actor Adam Connor. THAC is sweet and sexy and funny to a fault. It will no doubt have you smiling and laughing throughout, even in some of the most awkward moment, of which there are many. Ms. Maise is a fantastic writer and her characters are more-than-lovable, even more so because of their faults. I loved both of these books and while THAC can certainly be read on its own, do yourself a favor and read TLJT first. You won’t regret it.

READ IT {Robyn}: Southern Pleasure by Kaylee Ryan – A good-old fashion love story about falling in love with your best friend. Friends since childhood, Evan + McKinley have always been there to support and encourage each other through life’s challenges. When Evan suddenly finds himself a first-time new dad, McKinley is there to help him in every way possible. Although they’re drawn to one another, Evan keeps his distance for as long as he can out of respect for McKinley’s family, namely older brother Aaron. But when friendship the foundation and love is the home, denying what they have becomes impossible. This is a standalone HEA that will leave you smiling far and wide.

READ IT {Christine}: No Pants Required by Kim Karr  – Who doesn’t love a good rom-com? This is a great summer read! Makayla is a funny heroine who made me laugh out loud on several occasions. The predicaments she finds herself in are hilarious! Camden is a hot lifeguard whom Makayla sits next to on the airplane and hopes to join the mile high club with. To her utter embarrassment, he is also her new neighbor! Camden is hot and funny and wants to get to know Makayla when he finds out they are neighbors. Camden + Makayla burn up the pages as things get hot and steamy. Makayla’s best friend, Maggie, and Camden’s roommate, Brooklyn, added to the chemistry of the book and I hope that they will also get their stories told. This was such a fun summer read!

READ IT {Robyn}: Mercy F*ck by KS Adkins  – A wonderful mix of rom-com and action in one book. This is the story of Drew + Axle, who, as young adults (late teens, early twenties), developed an unlikely friendship. That friendship grew to love and after their one and only night together, it all crumbled. A misunderstanding that grew over years that kept them apart. Fate has other plans though, and Axle finds himself in Drew’s bar and seeing his once sweet friend now a badass chick. Loads of laughter ensue as they work through their issues. Also look for boats blowing up and bullets flying. Nothing will be easy for these two as they worked toward their happily ever after, but it will be SO worth it!

READ IT {Mila}: Read My Lips (A College Obsession Romance) by Daryl Banner   – Read My Lips is the story of Dessie + Clayton. Dessie, in an effort to escape the pressure of her Broadway-royalty family, transfers to a small college in Texas to study theater and find herself. There, she meets Clayton. A sexy, mysterious Texas-raised boy that lost his hearing at the age of 12. There is certainly a lot of drama in Read My Lips, even more so, given the book revolves around the theater. I really enjoyed the development of the relationship between Dessie + Clayton and I loved how the writing was handled in capturing the communication between the two of them, given Clayton is deaf. Read My Lips is the first in the series and I am definitely looking forward to future books that feature others in this cast of characters.

As of 8.1.16, all titles are available on Kindle Unlimited.
