Delivery Girl by Lily Kate

RATING: READ IT

One of the greatest things about Kindle Unlimited is discovering new-to-me authors. There’s zero risk, aside from my time, and the payoff can often exceed my expectations. 51v7wc3qhklDelivery Girl by Lily Kate is one of those books.

The story of Andi + Ryan will make you laugh and smile and swoon from the very beginning. Ryan is a professional hockey player from Minnesota and Andi, an aspiring comedian, is his pizza delivery girl while visiting his brother in Los Angeles. Their path from delivery-to-dating is adorable and unique and will keep you entertained throughout.

Andi is a heroine you can’t help but fall in love with—a dutiful daughter, an exceptional friend, funny, sweet and doesn’t take herself too seriously. Ryan is equally as lovable—sexy, sweet, easy going, passionate and loyal.

And then there’s their relationship. There’s so much unknown, that it felt incredibly authentic. I’ve been in numerous relationships that I couldn’t define and it’s not often captured in the genre in this way. Long distance, burgeoning careers and those around them are all obstacles in their way. These are two people on the precipice of big things in life and sometimes, a relationship, as great as it could be, just isn’t the right thing at the time. Joining them on their journey to discovering what’s most important in life is one ride you’ll most certainly enjoy.

As of 2.28.17, Delivery Girl is available on Kindle Unlimited.
