RATING: READ IT
Claiming Grace by Susan Stoker — Susan Stoker has come out with a new series and what a great start! This series features hot triplets and I bet they all get their girl! In Claiming Grace, both Logan + Grace have suffered abuse from their parents. Their relationship never had a chance when they were teenagers. When Logan left, he wrote to Grace, but due to her parents’ meddling, Grace thought Logan moved on without her. This is a story of two people who have lived through hell to come out on the other side of it and find a love that will last a lifetime. This was a really good read!
Not Part of the Plan by Lucy Score — The Blue Moon series is small town romance done right. Each book is a stand alone with interconnected characters. In Not Part of the Plan, Emma and Nico both are thrown for a loop when they become “friends” although both want more. The crazy town of Blue Moon and its matchmaking schemes prevail once again with Emma and Nico. There are some laugh out loud scenes in this book and of course I love reconnecting with the characters I have come to love in the other books. Really fun and heartwarming read.
Say It Again by S. Moose — This was a touching second chance love story. Jacob and Cameron only had one night together, but it was enough that they never forgot each other. Jacob’s life took an unexpected turn that led him away from Cameron and he left without a word that night. Cameron felt awful after waking up to find Jacob gone after their fantastic night together. Cameron is best friends with Jacob’s sister so when she goes to spend the summer with Grace’s family, she is bound to run into Jacob and fight her feelings that she still has for him. I fell so hard for Jacob in this book as he struggles to be the best person he can be and to get Cameron to give him another chance. I loved watching them find their way back to each other. This was a really good read.
Lovestruck by Lila Monroe — One thing that Lila Monroe always makes me do is laugh. This book really had me laughing in some parts. The book is told from Ruby’s POV and I loved her humor! Will Cassidy was her friend in college who she was in love with. She bared her feelings to him in a letter, only to find him laughing at her with his friends. She walked away and never talked to him again…..until she literally fell into him at the airport. As fate would have it, they were both headed to the same wedding at a resort Will owns. Ruby learns that things aren’t always what they seem. The writing was witty and clever and I fell hard for Will. If you are looking for a light read, this one is great!
