Porter by Georgia Cates

RATING: READ IT

I love kissing this man. Love the feel of his tongue against mine. Love the taste of his mouth.

Not going to lie, you guys. I feel like I waited forever for Porter, the third book in Georgia Cates’ Lovibond series. After absolutely devouring both Tap and Stout, I knew Porter Beckman had to be brewing something special… {← see what I did there?!}

And he was—a sexy love story that was sweet and fun, and maybe a little dramatic. In a good way, of course. I was, after all, on the proverbial edge of my seat for much of the book. Between the forbidden aspect of Porter + Frankee’s relationship—the nine year age difference and the fact her dad is his employee—there’s certainly much happening. And maybe it didn’t end up having as much impact as I might have expected, but I still really enjoyed it. Like, a lot. I liked the way it built up, the way it came together.

I liked, too, the way Frankee + Porter seemed to connect. Their bond was tight, of that there can be no doubt. And between his magic, filthy mouth and her flirty, porno princess ways, there’s a LOT about Porter that falls into the so hot it burns category. There was just something so effortless in the way Ms. Cates wrote not just their sex scenes, but their romance; their similarities and differences, their choices and decisions compelled me to keep reading. Even through the accelerated ending—oh, how I wish we could have had just one more chapter to tie up some loose ends—I didn’t want to put this one down, didn’t want this one to end.

So, while this third and final Lovibond book may not have been my favorite—that honor still belongs to Tap—it was undoubtedly one hell of a good book. Smart, extra-specially sexy, and with a tattooed dirty-talker + a sassy old-soul, Porter is a book worth waiting for… and book you’ll want to add to the top of your TBR.

“What are you thinking ?”
“I’m thinking you’re beautiful and perfect, and I’ve never wanted anyone more than I want you .”

As of 08.08.2017, Porter is available with Kindle Unlimited.
