Dating the Billionaire by Poppy Dunne

RATING: READ IT

I like my women fun and footloose and free and all the alliterations I can allocate to this… whatever.

If you joined me for the KU Sunday Spotlight this past weekend, then you’ll know I took my what should I read next? cue from a recent My Own Bookshelves BuzzFeed list. And, in the immortal words of Britney Spears, Oops, I did it again. I picked a book from the list and enjoyed it immensely.

And if quirky, witty, and a little bit silly sounds like a book you’d like to pick up and spend some time with, then please, allow me to recommend you do the same. Dating the Billionaire by Poppy Dunne was the book. Feel good, flirty, and fun was the game.

Jack + Dahlia are a sublime pairing. They’re both a little to the side of center—one a little to the left, one a little to right {not in political terms, to be clear}—and their whirlwind romance is filled with slightly awkward ramblings, scorching hot jet-and-other-places sex and a wide array of exotic and homicidal animals. It’s funny, sometimes in an absurd way, and it’s cute. It’s also a quick, easy read.

In fact, it’s a great book for a lazy afternoon waiting for the moon to cross the sun. Possibly just this side of too-quirky, but eh, that’s my kind of read—and if that sounds like your kinda read too, then what are you waiting for? Add it to your TBR and Read It!

A lovely face, sleek hair, full lips? Incredible. But a good heart? That’s my favorite thing to see in a woman.
I mean, not literally see. I’d either need X-ray vision or homicidal intent for that.
There’s a reason I don’t tell people every thought in my head.

As of 08.22.2017, Dating the Billionaire is available with Kindle Unlimited.
