Show Me the Way by A.L. Jackson

“All moments matter. We just rarely know how important they are until the chance to act on them has already passed.”

show me the wayEvery time I get an A.L. Jackson book on my Kindle, I know I’m going to be up until all hours of the night, because I have to know what happens next. Show Me the Way was no different. Luckily, I started the book early enough in the day that I only had to put off cleaning my house and all other Saturday duties to read it!

Rex + Rynna completely stole my heart. These two have both struggled through some bad times. Rynna has moved on from her past and emerged a more confident woman. The lonely girl she once was still makes appearances, but she is much stronger than she was when she left home eleven years ago.

Rex is still beating himself up over the past and he can’t move on. His little girl is his world… until he meets Rynna. That moment changes everything.

This book is a great love story—the writing is so good that it completely sucks you in. While there are many great love stories, Ms. Jackson really ups the game here. You feel the pain and the pleasure this couple experiences. You laugh with their friends and scream at the characters during some of the scenes. The writing sucks you into this world and makes you feel it all.

I was completely captivated by Show Me the Way—I couldn’t put it down. My heart broke for these characters as I lived through tearful moments with them, and Rynna + Rex {and Rex’s little girl, Frankie Leigh} are some of my favorite characters of late. The friends and relatives I adored as well. I hope to see them all get their stories told. This will be a series that I will always recommend, I can feel it! My recommendation for now: cuddle up with Rex + Rynna this weekend.

As of 10.05.17, Show Me the Way is available with Kindle Unlimited.
