Rewrite by Stephanie Rose

“I met the love of my life when I was five years old.”

rewriteI am nursing a major book hangover after finishing Stephanie Rose’s Rewrite. This second chance love story was so heartfelt, so beautifully written, that it left me wanting more even as I turned the last page.

I’m a huge fan of Stephanie Rose and have read most of her books. I know I will always get well-written characters to fall in love with. Her words captivate me every time and I lose myself in the world she has created. Simply put, it’s magic. And her heroes? They’re some of my favorites. These men always love wholeheartedly and let nothing stop them from winning the heart of their soulmate—including Josh.

Josh + Brianna had been best friends since they were in kindergarten. Their senior year, things took a bad turn and Josh had to leave. Though they had never crossed the friendship line, they loved each other without knowing their feelings were returned. But, years later, when Josh comes back to town, he comes with the intention of finally claiming what is his.

To be honest, I kind of feel like I cheated with this one, since I read the beginning of Josh + Brianna’s story in an anthology last year. I had already fallen in love with them before I even started Rewrite and their full-length story made me fall in love all over again with the magic of second chance romance. It made me believe in a true happily ever after.

It takes a special writer to really make the story magic. And perhaps the greatest element to Rewrite is the work that Josh + Brianna have to put into their relationship, and the demons they must slay together. Nothing is ever easy, even when you have always loved your best friend. Second chances are a gift and sometimes the hardest thing about moving forward is forgetting and forgiving the past.

This story will make your heart melt, and there will be tears as Josh + Brianna find their way. Rewrite is a must read for the weekend! Grab it now!

As of 10.19.17, Rewrite is available with Kindle Unlimited.
