4 New KU Read Its

why I'm yours

Why I’m Yours by S. Moose and C.A. Harms — I am a fan of S. Moose, but I had never read C.A. Harms, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this collaboration. But I loved it! These two created such a great story that hit on so many things! Reagan has overcome a lot and is finally able to move on from a tragedy that took so much from her. Drew is a single dad who, after a bad marriage, doesn’t want to be bothered with women . . . until Reagan. There is a magic between the two as they battle it out at first. The writing was seamless as the authors told this heartbreaking story. There was a good amount of angst and I loved Drew + Reagan. Reagan was bruised, but she came back strong. Nothing better than a great heroine! I loved the friends in this book, too, and I can’t wait to read the next story. Great read!

it started with a kiss

It Started with a Kiss by Melanie Moreland — This was my first book by Melanie Moreland and I really liked what I read! Avery + Daniel’s story is one of the awkward girl and the hot vet. This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie. What starts as a kissing experiment quickly turns into a sweet love story that I couldn’t put down. Avery + Daniel, as well as the supporting cast, were well-written characters and they are people I felt like would be in my friend circle. I loved watching shy Avery come out of her shell as Daniel showed her what a desirable woman she was. The love story was sweet with a little heat. I could definitely see this one on the small screen!

The Hipster Chronicles by Faith Andrews — When I heard that Faith Andrews was going to write a book that was going to feature four “hipster” type couples, I couldn’t wait. Faith has a gift for story-telling. Her writing is always heartfelt and passionate, and I knew that these couples would capture my heart. There are four shorter stories about four different couples. And, even though the stories aren’t long, they are really good and the couples have great chemistry that sizzles! Definitely a great read!

taken by the seal

Taken by the Seal by Callie Harper —  I was excited to read something a little different from Callie Harper. I was a huge fan of the last several books I read by her and knew that this book was going to be different.  This is a shorter novel, and it packs a lot of heat between Knox + Olivia. Knox rescues Olivia from an attempted kidnapping—Olivia is scared at first thinking that Knox is the one who kidnapped her. The heat and chemistry melt the pages, and Olivia gives into her desire for Knox, while Knox can’t fight his feelings for Olivia anymore. This had an insta-love feel for me and lots of sexy time! It was a hot read with a good story. I really enjoyed it.

As of 10.24.17 all titles are available on Kindle Unlimited.
