KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. This week, we’re headed to Montana with a trio of brothers, a city girl and a mystery that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat. Enjoy!

She was dreaming about him again. She’d dreamed that he’d hold her just like this. That he’d whisper comfort to her, telling her that he loved her. Just like he was doing now.

There are few treats in the world greater than finding a new {to you} author and series to love. And that’s what I found in Jill Sanders and her Haven, Montana series.

Closer to You is the first book in the series {and the only one currently available; book two, Never Let Go, will be available in February 2018} and a great way to introduce the McGowan brothers. They’re rough and tumble, but loyal and caring and sexy, and ahhh, this reviewer straight-up swooned for them more than once.

Closer to You

The story of Tyler + Kristen, this book is romance and suspense and a whole lot of fun. It features edge-of-your-seat action {with feels, of course}, twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, the right amount of push and pull—especially with Tyler + Kristen on opposing sides to begin with—and a solid foundation upon which to build stories for both Trent and Trey, Tyler’s younger brothers.

Basically, it has all the ingredients a book needs to capture and hold a reader’s attention, which it most certainly did mine. When I wasn’t reading it, I was thinking about it. And when I was thinking about it, I was eager to get back to it. Back to Tyler’s unwavering faith in his family and his business, and his palpable chemistry with Kristen. Back to Kristen’s strength and her quest for answers.

Back to the McGowan family and the town of Haven, Montana, where the people are little rough around the edges, but the stories are a treat that I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving week.

“I believed you to be . . . well, rough. Yet you lay in a field, spouting poetry.”
He laughed. Really laughed. “The hell I do,” he finally said.
“What would you call it?”
“My feelings.”

As of 11.26.2017, Closer to You is available with Kindle Unlimited.
