2017: Christine’s Buy It Year In Review

Next week we embark on a new year! Before I say good-bye to 2017, I want to reflect back on my year and everything I’ve done here at KU Book Reviews. It’s been a pretty good year for me in the book world. I’ve met so many wonderful people. Some of them have become such dear friends. One of my favorite things as I look back is the number of awesome books I have read this year. There have been many new authors who have quickly moved to the top of my list, as well as my one-click authors. I’ve read almost 350 books this year, so it’s amazing that I have so many standouts!

I’ve used the same rules as Beth, which she posted on Tuesday. (See Beth’s review https://wp.me/p76IVI-1Kn)

  1. The book didn’t have to be published in 2017, but I did read it in 2017. At the beginning of the year, I was still doing my 4 READ ITS, so it was great to have a chance to talk about my BUY ITS, too. I got to publish my first BUY IT review on my birthday in February which was A Thousand Letters by Staci Hart. My last BUY IT review was B. Cranford’s A Crazy Christmas, a holiday novella which was the perfect way to end the year.
  1. The book may no longer be on Kindle Unlimited, but it was at the time I read it. Like Adriana Locke’s Lucky Number Eleven, Laurelin Paige’s Sex Symbol and Terri E. Laine’s Because of Him. As Beth said, it’s a BUY IT for a reason, so even though they are no longer in KU, it’s definitely worth the money to buy them!
  1. And lastly, authors can make the list twice. Some of my favorites like Lindsay Cross, SL Scott, Mia Kayla, Rebecca Shea, B. Cranford and Adriana Locke you’ll see made my list more than once. These are some of my one-click authors and you should definitely check them out if you haven’t already!

So without further ado . . . here are my BUY IT recommendations for 2017. I’ve already seen what’s coming down the pike in 2018 and I’m so excited! I’ll be back in 2018 with more books that I can’t wait to talk about!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
