KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

It’s time again for the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. This week’s Buy It review features a strong, smart and sexy female CIA Agent—the kind of kick ass heroine 2018 deserves—and some late ‘90’s nostalgia . . . Enjoy!

I’m what they call a swallow: a female agent employed to seduce people for intelligence purposes.
It’s what they do.
What I do.

If you’re anything like me, you were pretty darn happy when Kindle Worlds was added to Kindle Unlimited. Literal worlds of books opened up for my enjoyment. {Mine, only mine, LOL.} And now that Jillian Anselmi has a book based in Aleatha Romig’s Fidelity universe, I’m extra happy.

Infiltration is a romantic suspense that’s more suspense than romance—and still manages to be sexy. Set in the late ‘90’s, which I’d be lying if I said didn’t take me back to the heady days of my youth, it follows Deloris Witt, a kick ass CIA operative. And guys, when I say kick ass, I mean, kick ass.

I mean, she can take down most anyone.

I love that Ms. Anselmi made Deloris the center of this novella—one that, incidentally, was #borninthekorner—and that she was unapologetically strong, smart and determined. Her no holds barred approach to her career and her mission . . . I mentioned the book was sexy—but did I mention that that is where a lot of said sex appeal lies?

I absolutely have a girl crush on Deloris after this one short but suspense-filled, fast-paced, action-packed story, and I seriously cannot wait to see what Agent Witt encounters next. I’ll be pretty darn happy to see her again.

I’ve been kissed quite a few times in my life, but on a scale of one to ten, this was an eleven.
If we’d met under different circumstances, I might have given him a chance.
Too bad he’s a mark.

As of 01.21.2018, Infiltration is available with Kindle Unlimited.
