KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. This week, a hockey hunk on the hunt for a second chance makes for a feel good Read It romance. As always, enjoy!

“You are a picture of perfection, and I’m committing you to memory.”

For months—since it released—I’ve been wanting to say YES to Just Say Yes by Samantha Lind. I one-clicked it on release day, but it wasn’t until this week that I finally had a chance to actually open it and read it.

With a swollen cheek and an overwhelming desire to read something warm and feel good, I tapped on this one—and I’m so happy I did. Because Scott + Becca are super cute together.

I first fell for them during Ms. Lind’s recent #bedtimestoryinthekorner {which is how I knew this was the book to see me through a trying week} and, as suspected, their second chance romance was just what I needed. Low angst, low drama, sweet and likable characters and lots of yummy, heated moments.

There’s something so charming and easy-going about Just Say Yes. It’s not for everyone—angst lovers need not apply—but for me, it was a refreshing change. It was more about the natural ups and downs and uncertainties of a relationship than any external drama, and honestly, I had enough hurt in my life this week without adding fictional hurt to the mix, you know?!

I’ll definitely be reporting back to Indianapolis and saying YES to the next book in this hockey series—Scoring the Player having been released this Thursday—because I’m already intrigued by Brian + Kinley . . . and not just because I loved their #bedtimestoryinthekorner, too.

Having my one true love back in my arms is powerful. Now I just have to keep her here.

As of 02.11.2018, Just Say Yes is available with Kindle Unlimited.
