KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. This week, I have a Read It review that ties romance and suspense—and asks as many questions as it answers . . . Enjoy!

“Addy . . .”
“Dream of me.”
“I already am.”

91PdyZa5sWLLet me start by saying that I am super happy to be back in Haven, Montana with Jill Sanders and the McGowan family. Though it’s been a few months since I read Closer to You, the first book in the series, it stuck with me and I dove into Never Let Go eager to get some answers.

Little did I know I’d also be getting more questions . . .

It’s all good though; it sets up the intrigue to spill into the next book, plus Trent + Addy’s story is—in and of itself—a standalone. An enjoyable, suspenseful one, at that. Yes, there was some carry over from book one {which is definitely worth a read}, but mostly, this one focused on trust, fear, old wounds—and new—and family. It’s a great combination, and when added with the heat of Trent + Addy, certainly makes the pages fly by.

Honestly, I could probably lay out for you a lot things about this book that made me smile, made me laugh, made me a little bit mad, but truly, it’s as simple as this: I just liked everything about this book. It had feels and it had heart. Not to mention, it had Trent.

So, now, I’m kinda sad to leave Haven behind for another little while, but I’m certain to be happy to return and finally get the answers I’ve been waiting for when book three comes around. After all, it will have Trey.

“You’re amazing.”
“Why? Because I fight for birds?”
“No, because you fight for what is right. You make the world a better place for birds . . . and for me.”

As of 02.25.2018, Never Let Go and Closer to You are available with Kindle Unlimited.
