KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. This week, I’m going deep into a war zone filled with suspense and sexy times—not to mention, a few SEALs for the ride . . .  As always, enjoy!

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
That’s my motto.

Prepare for the best when you dive into Jillian Anselmi’s Exfiltration, her second visit to Aleatha Romig’s Fidelity Kindle World. It’s an edge-of-your-seat ride, which is heavy on suspense and intrigue, and treats the reader like they’ve been handed their own assignment, like they’re a vital part of the mission.

In this case, it’s a mission that could go wrong at any moment . . . EXFILTRATION - EBOOK COVER

This novella is absolutely a quick, one-sitting read. But don’t be fooled—it is by no means easy. Exfiltration took me on a wild ride back to the late ’90s, to the war-torn Middle East, and left me wanting more of Deloris Witt. She’s a CIA agent and all-around badass—in and out of bed—and I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing her again if she brought a certain group of Frog Men with her.

Or maybe if she just promised me another blood-pumping spy mission that proves than women really can do it all.

If you’re looking for a book that can be devoured in a short period of time but make your heart race with every page, or perhaps one that’ll leave you feeling smarter and more worldly than when you began, you should definitely consider giving Exfiltration a try. Though it’s more suspense than romance—something I also thought about Deloris’ first outing, Infiltration—it manages to find time for a little bit of sexiness and a little bit of heart, which makes for a killer combination.

A combination I hope will be back again, and soon. Because I’m definitely ready for my next assignment . . .

“So, a quick in and out?”
“That’s the plan.”
Plans always have a way of unraveling.

As of 04.29.2018, Exfiltration is available with Kindle Unlimited.
