KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the One-Click Addict Support Group. After several weeks of hiatus—I’m sorry!—I’m back with some fangirling and a Buy It review. Enjoy!

“Not everyone needs a hero, Beck. Not everyone wants to be repaired.”
“Good. Because you’re not broken.”

Look, I can’t lie. Tessa Bailey isn’t just one of my favorite authors, she’s basically my Queen. And whoa, if you want to know why, then you need to get your hands on The Major’s Welcome Home. Quick and dirty, yet still chock full of story, it is novella perfection and hot enough to burn.

But, like, good burn. The best kind of burn. The kind that has your thighs clenching and your blood pumping and your heart racing. Beck + Kenna are a raging, rolling storm of dirty talk and kink and, honestly, this one really should come with an ice-cold drink, a portable fan and some smelling salts for when you get the vapors.

Seriously, though, The Major’s Welcome Home is a wonderful story. I read and loved it when it was available in the Off Base anthology, and reading it again now that it’s on its own only made me love it all the more. Because everything—from the way Beck + Kenna meet-cute, to the fact of Beck’s virginity {yasss to the virgin hero}, to Kenna’s insecurities—is brought together just so to make a story that takes you deeper than you expect, while being disguised as a simply sexy romp.

Which means, whether you want something that’ll raise your temperature or you’re looking for something with depth, a possessive alpha male and a slightly salty, not-broken-just-a-little-dented heroine, you really can’t miss with The Major’s Welcome Home. All hail Queen Tessa!

“When we’re not fucking, I will treat you like gold. But right now, all I can think about is wearing out my little bad girl. I want to carry your limp body out of here in my goddamn arms. Do you understand me?”

As of 07.29.2018, The Major’s Welcome Home is available with Kindle Unlimited.
