Reckless Miles by Claire Kingsley

reckless miles coverIf you’ve been following my reviews over the last year or so, you might remember that I’d set myself a goal of trying to read a new author every month. One of the authors that I found with this goal was Claire Kingsley and, since then, I’m first in line for anything she writes. Her recent release, Reckless Miles, was the perfect blend of romance.

I—along with all of Ms. Kingsley’s fans—have been waiting patiently for Cooper Miles to get his story. Cooper is over-the top and I couldn’t wait to see what the girl who’d steal his heart would be like. From the beginning, Amelia got under Cooper’s skin and, really, who’d have thought there was a girl on this earth who spoke Cooper?

These two embedded themselves into my heart as Amelia’s Cooper-moon turned into so much more. Watching Cooper stumble his way through love was amusing, and yet, gave me all of the feels. This story has so much heart and depth as we reconnect with the Miles family and get further into the story with their father. Ms. Kingsley always leaves us hanging on that plot point with something she can take to the next book, which I love.

Watching this man-child fall in love with Amelia kept me firmly planted in my seat—I couldn’t put Reckless Miles down. In fact, you could say the story was over too soon. I simply can’t get enough of this family.

If you haven’t started the Miles Family series yet, you should. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend you read them in order to get the total experience. Besides, experiencing Cooper from the very beginning is the only way to go. Excellent read and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

As of 09.25.18, Reckless Miles is available with Kindle Unlimited.
