Open Your Heart by Sophia Henry

RATING: READ IT

“No one—nothing—will stop me from loving you.”

Guys, if you’re looking for a rockstar romance with opposites attract feels, then look no further than Sophia Henry’s Open Your Heart.

Open Your Heart

It was exciting to see this one pop up in the Kindle Unlimited library—it’s been quite some time since I’ve had the chance to read a book by Ms. Henry. Having previously read {and thoroughly enjoyed} her hockey romances, it seemed like a no-brainer to check her latest out.

It didn’t disappoint. It’s a fun read with two main characters who are perfectly imperfect—which just makes them all the more relatable—and sweet story about being true to and believing in yourself. Austin + Liz weren’t what I was expecting and that, along with the way they handled their {sometimes frustrating} obstacles, meant that this relationship—and this book—was altogether refreshing.

Which, actually, was just what I had hoped for when I clicked on it. Though there were a couple of small editing hiccups, Ms. Henry delivered in Open Your Heart a well-written, steamy and rewarding love story with nuanced characters, and a definite tease for the second book in this series—a book that I am already looking forward to picking up.

“You’re the most phenomenal human I’ve met in my entire life. I don’t care if you don’t believe me right now. One day you will. I’ll spend every fucking second until that day proving it to you.”

As of 10.02.2018, Open Your Heart is available with Kindle Unlimited.
