KU Sunday Spotlight by KUBR + OCA

Welcome back to the KU Sunday Spotlight, brought to you by KU Book Reviews + the 1-Click Addict Support. This week, a quick, dirty and emotional older woman/younger man story that . . . well, let’s just say it worked for me. Enjoy!

RATING: BUY IT

“If you come with me, I’ll make it worth your while.”

It’s been far, far too long since I’ve read a book by Rie Warren. I loved her Carolina Bad Boys series {I’ve loved a lot of her series, TBH, but that’s my favorite} and somewhere along the way, I fell behind in my reading. Well, I’m back with a BANG—or at least, a book that starts with an effing hot bang: Why Him?.

Why Him

Y’all, this book starts out so bloody HAWT, I thought I might combust, and then gets . . . cooler? In the best way, of course. Cady + Jude have their secret arrangement, but when it comes to a halt because of reasons, what’s left is this brilliant push-pull, a tense back-and-forth that, ugh, made me crazy.

Crazy to keep reading.
Crazy to know when the bubble would burst.
Crazy to get to the end . . .
. . . and crazy at the idea of getting to the end.

Seriously, I could have kept reading and reading and reading about this couple and their heartfelt and erotic love story.

Why Him? is Ms. Warren at her finest—smoking hot sex scenes with a romantic kind of build; a heaping dollop of laugh-out-loud humor packaged with Southern charm; and hero designed to put your ovaries on notice. I mean, Jude with Cady’s boys? Yeah, that got me goooooood.

If you’ve never read Ms. Warren before, what are you waiting for? Start with Why Him? then hunt down her diverse and sexy AF back catalogue. It has something for everyone. And if you have read her before {and maybe fallen behind, like me}? Well,  why not him is what I want to know. Why Him? is an excellent place to dive back in!

I didn’t want to look.
I had to look.
I wished I’d never looked.

As of 10.14.2018, Why Him? is available with Kindle Unlimited.
