RATING: BUY IT
‘Write me words. Share this in your stories. Translate the feeling so that it’s this fucking beautiful.’
I think beautiful is a rather apt word when it comes to Lynsey M. Stewart’s A Novel Christmas. It’s a beautiful friends-to-lovers romance, and it has all the feels.
I’ve never before read one of Ms. Stewart’s books, but I do LOVE holiday romance, so I was compelled to give it a try. And y’all, I am so glad I did. Cal + Drew are super swoony, their story a charming blend of laugh-out-loud humor and sweet, sexy love.
And when I say sexy, I mean sexy. That window scene is *flame emoji* fire. And what comes after it? Ugh, I wanted to burn something else down.
That’s the effect this book had on me. It made me feel, made me want to fall in love and poke at Drew and hug lovely Cal. But mostly, it made me want to keep reading until I got to the perfect, rewarding ending.
‘If I were open to love, I would only want to be open for you.’
As of 11.18.2018, A Novel Christmas is available with Kindle Unlimited.
