Heartbreak Warfare by Heather M. Orgeron and Kate Stewart

From the first chapter of Heartbreak Warfare by Kate Stewart and Heather Oregon, I was invested. I knew my heart would be torn to pieces. I knew I was in for a breathtaking, emotional journey that would keep me glued to my Kindle till the very last word. I knew that it would be a novel I’d never forget. And I was right. It was EVERYTHING.

Heartbreak Warfare

This is not an easy read—it’s raw, it’s real, and will make your heart bleed. You will need breaks, a giant box of tissues, and someone nearby to hug and console you. But it is worth. Every. Tear.

“Love is supposed to be enough, it’s not supposed to rip you to fucking shreds.”

This is a story born from war, something so dark and so real, you feel as if you’re living in the pages. The writing, the characters—Katy, Gavin, Briggs, and Noah—God, I loved every one of them. Their lives are forever intertwined and as the story unfolded, I truly had no idea how it would end.

“I am two different women, living in two separate worlds, in love with two different soldiers.”

Beautiful, heartbreaking, and all consuming, Heartbreak Warfare has landed on my top reads of 2018. It’s a novel that will stay with me and I know I’ll never forget their words. It’s impossible to capture the brilliance of this story in a short review, but all I can say is this is one you don’t want to miss.

As of 12.3.2018, Heartbreak Warfare is available with Kindle Unlimited.
