Ten Reasons to Stay by Candace Knoebel

10 ReasonsI have a confession: I love angst. It’s kinda an addiction. I crave it, seek it out, need it to survive day-to-day life. It’s my most favorite type of trope in romance novels and the more it rips my heart out, the more I love it.

Ten Reasons to Stay by Candace Knoebel was #BookCrack for an angst-addict like me. I wish I could remember the Facebook group/person who recommended it so I could give them a shout-out. Because holy cow in the meadow—this novel was the mother lode.

Not only can Ms. Knoebel write her pants off, she created a plot that had me gripping my Kindle wondering what the hell was gonna happen next.

Corinne + Jack. Corinne + Cole. An open marriage—WHAT?! Sign me up. Make it hurt. Hand me that paper bag. Gimme all the feels!!!

“When a marriage was cracked, the trust lost, couples could do their best to seal the cracks, but they’d always be there, the foundation weaker than it was before. Waiting for the slightest amount of pressure that would crumble it into a thousand pieces.”

What ensues is a story that will consume you. You’ll fall hard for these characters and despise some of them too.

My heart… 💔💔💔

Once I finished that last page, I wanted to cry because I didn’t want this book to end. I’ll definitely check out more of Ms. Knoebel’s books, because damn, she rocked it.

“So often as little girls with lollipops in our mouths and pigtails in our hair, we were told that one day we’d find true love. A man would sweep us off our feet. Carry us into a happily ever after fit for princesses. But was there ever a true happily ever after? What about the bumps that happened along the way? And what about being our own hero?”

As of 12.27.18, Ten Reasons to Stay is available with Kindle Unlimited.
