Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker

RATING: BUY IT

ten tiny breaths‘Just breathe, Kacey. Ten tiny breaths. Seize them. Feel them. Love them.’

Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker is one of my favorite reads of all time. I first read it back in 2013, and decided I was in the mood for a re-read. I’m thrilled to say that I loved it just as much the second time around.

Kacey has faced so much loss in her short life, and the only way for her to cope is to remain closed off and not let anyone in.

“Isn’t it exhausting?”

“What?”

“Keeping people out.”

She wants to start over, away from the memories of the life she had before. She and her sister set off to Florida to start a new life.

Trent is new to Florida as well and when he and Casey meet, wow, fireworks! I absolutely LOVED him—those dimples and beautiful blue eyes . . . swoon. How can you resist?!

“I’ll make you whole again, Kacey. I promise you, I will.”

Trent + Casey’s chemistry is off the charts, yet Casey is afraid to let anyone get too close. Once Casey opened her heart, I couldn’t get enough of them together. Perfection.

“I want to make you smile. For real. Always. We’re going to go for dinners, and see movies, and walk on the beach. We’ll go hang-gliding, or bungee jumping, or whatever you want to do. Whatever makes you smile and laugh more. Let me make you smile.”

I’m not gonna lie, Ten Tiny Breaths is going to get to you emotionally. Your heart will ache, and you’ll cry ugly tears. It’s a beautiful, incredibly powerful story that will stay with you long after you’ve finished.

Happiness, longing, love, hope, fear, and forgiveness all play a huge part in this unforgettable, soul-stirring story.

As of 4.4.19, Ten Tiny Breaths is available with Kindle Unlimited.
